…Yeah, sorry, but this comment is a bit dated by now.
That’s true for other ponies, but remember, in the actual short her hearing was good enough to differentiate and pick out an individual snowflake, and her hearing AND touch were good enough for her to carve said snowflake into an intricate shape. And these are Snowdrop’s abilities as a filly; imagine what proper training, like with the Wonderbolts, could accomplish.
Ever get something in your eye from the wind, like dust or a bug? It hurts like hell, right? Enough to be distracting, in fact.
Problem is, that would require a lot of setup and would still mean that she wouldn’t be able to fly around in a way that is practical or possible. She would be limited by whatever can be placed in the sky for her to sense, and anything from the wind, to weather, to a bird could throw her off.
