How offensive for all the efforts the guy that draws the thing has to do, you come and say they go copy paste. Perhaps the lacking of time and the effort for updating in time made them not paying attention to such detail you so much want to make everyone to notice now.

So I was right before the second comment. Thanks for confirming…I truly appreciated that. I wanted to make sure that I was giving accurate info with it before just putting it out there, since we all have found out that it’s a bitch to make up for mistakes in the comments.
***memo to the admin team at Derpibooru: I think that there should be a capability that allows us to edit our comments. Most other pony sites allow edits, but Derp doesn’t. Just a thought. If you’re already discussing that feature then just discard the comment–you already are on it.

No, you were right the first time. FlimFlamBros. is the writer and creator of Rogue Diamond. I did base it off Black Lagoon, and Pia helps with idea and draws the characters.

Wait, I want to apologize. You were right the first time. I looked it up, and it was initially Pia that came up with the idea, and then she hooked with FlimFlamBros. Apparently this was like 1 1/2 years in the making…
Bonus: Both Pia-sama and FlimFlamBros. are avid Sparity shippers, so there’s that as well.
Actually, I think it is FlimFlamBros that created the whole Black Lagoon shift with this MLP comic, as well as a few others. It’s a team of about six-seven people at last count.
Pia-sama’s in charge of the style and images of the comic, and if you know her style, you would see that it’s a dead giveaway.
Pia made this comic out of her own imagination and never heard of black lagoon until people started telling her “Oooh, black lagoon x mlp?” And she’s like “wtf is black lagoon?”
Not to mention that he IS stronger than they give him credit for, and his skin can resist small arms fire.
With main characters who are basically ponified Somali pirates?
It seemed pretty clear in the last comic that Rarity was going to talk Spike into something. So yeah, he’s going to the other ship, but I’d bet there’s a plan in there somewhere with Rarity that he’s a part of. The only hard part would have been convincing Twilight to go along with it.
…and I’m still sticking with butch lesbians for the both of them…You’re full of shit if you think that Soarin’ is your dream special somepony Rainbow Dash, and even worse that you would think that I would believe it…
