I guess it’s something to do with how Sonic crossovers were spammed like no tomorrow during the early days of the fandom. People got tired of it. Blatant overdone crossover ships and stuff.

Not everyone. I like Sonic more than MLP, personally.

A lot of people don’t like it, but at the same time they’ve ultimately binded themselves into getting slews of Sonic crossover art put up on this site by always reacting as strongly as they do. I don’t think people will ever realize that they’re getting trolled here.
