Yes, no party is in the wrong, but at the same time does an apology or an excuse make everything better?

All I see is a few options either they try to reason with Twilight to get her to change her ways or they kill their best friend before she kills them. Either option we wont know as the viewer’s until the very end witch sucks.

Rex- like Twi kills a shit load of citizens and Lily has not much of an excuse?

Problem with all of these comments based around this comic is that everyone assumes one of the groups is being insensitive. Neither side is wrong. The Mane 5 just learned their friend has been committing heinous acts, which is hard to believe let alone take in all at once. On the other hand, Spike and his gang have had to live through all of those horrible acts, and then have their friendship questioned by someone who wasn’t even there. Neither side is in the wrong for the way they feel or react. Sure, both groups could have used a little more tact, but condemning either one isn’t exactly fair.

The Mane Six just learnt that one of their best friend - someone they know as the kind and brave Princess of Friendship that has saved Equestria many times - turned into Sombra 2.0. It’s actually pretty understandable that they’re having a hard time coming to terms with this. Especially since they haven’t seen any of the atrocities Twilight has committed. What do you except should be their reaction?

Oh she lost someone, that makes it all better. I bet she tries to kill Twilight if they try to end this peacefully.

So Twilight going full on vlad the impaler on her own people is okay, these people living through it and seeing the worst first hand isn’t an excuss but some ponies who haven’t lived through it coming to it and saying this is wrong… sure she is in the wrong and not pinkie pie and the rest for not fully understanding or coming to grips that Twilight is beyond saving.

Still not that much of an excuse.
