Emerald feels like he could trust Hope, but at the same time it’s better to be cautious in a situation like this.
 
“I don’t know what happened to my parents, or anyone else! There was a… Um… Landslide and I haven’t seen anypony since then…”
 
Hope looks worriedly at you and says, “I’m sorry, this must be hard for you… It’s alright. You don’t need to say anymore child. Anyway, if you don’t feel like eating now, let’s make our way over to the triage for a check up. We have some very talented doctors with us, and if I find anything wrong we’ll have them look at it!”
 
Emerald and Hope leave the stew behind and start walking towards a large tent with a huge red cross on it.
 
The ponies walk in silence. Emerald smiles at the mare before him and she smiles back. Maybe now would be a good time to ask her any questions.
