I wonder what was the first example of “Vampires die/ get/ lose powers during the sunlight” trope?

Fun fact: Dracula (the first written vampire or at least written to be the first) was never actually weak to sunlight, nor was it even implied it weakened him. He was just a prideful and greedy man and wanted to keep his appearances up so he hid his powers during the day to remain in the presence of normal humans. Thus him being ‘Dracula the Vampire’ was in itself a surprise. People have since determined that anything bat or vampire related is weak to sunlight though in reality Dracula simply chose not to present himself in the light. Supposedly he actually was a charming man to most during the day.

Why do i believe these two could be very good friends? Solaire seek his very own sun and Laichi seek to stand in the light/sun.
