What if the tyre was buried a lot longer than you think?
Surely the ground would’ve changed by then.
Also, apocalyptic human civilization does sound awesome.
@HJSDGCE
The ground would have been disturbed by the digging, and SURELY the show would demonstrate rigorous undergraduate level stratigraphy in its throwaway gags aimed at seven year olds or their bored parents?
(To my untrained archaeological eye though, this is all consistent with the aclopalyptic mudslide/tidal wave theory, with two phases of occupation and pit digging before the present and after the disaster that buried the tyre and the presumed technological civilization that created it.)
Technically, they’re in front of Rarity’s boutique (or maybe behind?) but good theory.
…my kind of apocalypse. :3
I just pulled that number from thin air but it was noticed pretty soon after the episode aired (if not during the episode itself).
If Ponibooru was still around I’d look for the first post about it (and I don’t want to go to 4chan).
Oh wow…
…
…
We are an observing bunch.
10 minutes after the episode aired, actually…
