In this scene there was no war. This was just a single conflict but not a whole war. By the way this is another good example of hasbro explaining war is terrible. Just look at twilights expression! And the statement of the yak leader that there will be war, was not mean seriously liek other things like…let’s see…oh! Fallout Equestria!

If that’s your statement, you may surely have a good example for me that shows war in current Equestria. But in fact, i don’t really care about it, since you wrote 4 comments that are absolutely useless here, because they have nothing to do with the question i asked in context with the pic. You know when children are searching the internet about MLP today there’s no way you can avoid FoE, which is one of the most hyped stories about MLP? In Fact: In this time searching for MLP isn’t safe at all for children. (‘cause of r34 and co.). My opinion over Fo:E has nothing to do with the reason i make these pics. It should serve only as inspiration, to see on which side you stand. And I feel sad about the fact that unfortunately there’s still no useful answer. (except myungsoo, thanks for you comment^^)

You don’t need to explain how the government works, or tell them about all the horrors of war. You don’t have to expect a child to understand all of it, but I think kids can be made aware of these concepts. If you cut them off from the world it stunts their growth as individuals. Plus FO:E isn’t exactly for kids in the first place. If you’re showing it to a child I’d call your parenting skills into question. I’d also question your parenting skills if you’re letting your kid free roam the internet with no safe filters. And if your child happens to stumble across a picture then do your damn job as a parent and do your best to explain it to them.

How do you explain it to children? Maybe by treating kids like they aren’t idiots? You don’t have to drop a truth bomb on a 5 year old and show them how the world is terrible but you don’t need to shield them from everything all the time either. They’re gonna find out on their own whether you want them to or not. They had war in a series of alternate timelines and the show went out of its way to explain that this is a BAD timeline, and FO:E is also an Alternate Timeline technically speaking. Does the possibility that it could even happen in an AU offend you so much that you need to go out of your way to make these pics?

There were wars in the Equestria, but why should they do more fighting? Should it be the norm that Equestria must wage war? A country consisting of friendship and harmony? Do you remember?

Alternative or not, they are still canon in the MLP:FiM. They are a possibility. They are also a proof that Equestria can and will go into war when needed.
 
Not to mention they are damn good at changing their whole economy. Which actually makes Fallout Equestria even more plausible than ever before. Cause if Equestria needed that coal, it would wage war and kill the world.

Firstly, those timelines indicate that the possibility exists. It is debatable whether a setting with the clear potential for war can truly be said to be without it. However, that slippery point is moot when you remember that Equestria was officially at war with Yakyakistan for much of the third act of “Party Pooped.” A short lived conflict with no casualties, but war was declared.

Uhm…this picture should only show the fact that Littlepip is supposed to fight in a post-apocalyptic war made by the fandom and Rico lives in the show-canon universe without war. The text in the footnote is just a slogan for the universes (FoE=To reach peace, the war must be fight to its end; MLP= It’s a peaceful world where’s no place for a post-apocalyptic scenario) and please don’t interpret context to Littlepip’s or Rico’s character. I don’t think the image is insulting to the source material, because the reason of this comparison is to choose between the show-canon universe or the fandom universe. Nothing else.

Fo:E is a story made by the fandom, so they want Littlepip to fight in a war like that (I dunno why). Rico appears in many Rainbow Factory stuff, because he’s the Ponysona of my friend kaekimaster (see cutie mark). I also don’t like the RF story, but please don’t tell me creating a post-apocalyptic Equestria without any sense isn’t more grimderp than a fanwank about the weather factory.
