@Hackron
yeah! I totally agree, she really should be in prison.

but I love Rainbow Dash the most and I think she looks better in orange compared to her friends, so I always make her go to prison instead.
Background Pony #D68E
Let’s look at the facts: Luna went nuts and tried to create everlasting night, which would have resulted in the eventual death of that world.

Discord, less than a year after breaking free from his prison and attempting a hostile takeover of Equestria, was released on time served.

Chrysalis: impersonated a princess, brainwashed a high-ranking officer, and tried enslaving the ponies, after which she was simply tossed out of the city and only seen again in the comics.

Sombra: succeeded in enslaving and cursing an entire subspecies of ponies, vanished for a thousand years, came back, tried enslaving said ponies again as well as killing their protectors, got blown to smithereens, got brought back, turned good, and was released without punishment.

Tirek: imprisoned in the Equestrian equivalent of Hell.

Starlight Glimmer: created a spell that removes ponies’ special talents which she used to start a cult, got beaten, spent months stalking a princess of Equestria, went back in time and changed the past in ways that had an incredibly negative effect on the future. Released with no time served, on the mere PROMISE of good behavior.

My point (and I do have one) is this: if Rainbow Dash committed a crime that called for the conviction and imprisonment of one of the Element Bearers, laughing at her is most likely a bad idea…
