I imagine that in the same magic that makes it impossible for the unworthy to lift Mjolnir, the worthy would find it to be comfortably light, as it’s implied the hammer moves with their will. Thor once convinced Hulk he was worthy by controlling the hammer so the big green lug could think he could lift it and swing it around, but the moment Thor released his control, it became too heavy for even the Hulk to lift.
