well we don’t really need to follow all the canon when we create fan-made creations like Accord anyway but it helps to know he definitely has a horse-head.

-Cheerilee said he has the “head of a pony”.
-When Lauren Faust was designing Discord she didn’t like how his snout/face was turning out so she had Craig McCracken redesign it to make it “more HORSE-like and less dragon-like”.
-We haven’t even seen what a male alicorn who’s been around for 1000+ years looks like yet in the show plus let’s not forget that there have been all sorts of ponies with unique snouts before.

He does. Because that’s not a pony face. We’ve never seen anypony, no matter how grizzled and wizened, with as long of a muzzle as Discord has. Even Troubleshoes, the first MLP pony to actually look like a horse, has only a slightly longer muzzle than Big Mac, nowhere near the length of Discord’s muzzle. So it kind of looks like his head is pastede on yay (this may actually be the first time I get to use that meme when it’s really about a pasted on head :-)).

At least it’s not as bad as a father/husband/wife/child of Luna or celly
