i have a headcanon where flash is actually a family guy responsible from what is left from his family, he acts awkward and foolish because he fears that if he reveals his true nature he might get people to think he is a monster(he can change his eyes and hair to red) and attack his family, he has a twin sister who he loves more than anyone in the entire world, making his that “touch my sister and i will kill you” character.

Relating Flash to any more likeable character in his current state is an insult for said character. Trying to gain Flash more popularity just by relating him to more developed and liked character just like that is the stupidest thing they could do. Flash must overcome this challenge on his own, to become more developed and interesting, not relying on other more popular characters, or perish.

The Tastiest
They look similar in more ways than one, from inverted color schemes, eyes matching their hair, and cutie marks involving flashes of lightning. So, I imagined if not they’re not estranged siblings or half-siblings, Flash being the “responsible” one and Dust being the slacker, they might be cousins or whatnot.
 
But, I also like the idea that Flash physically can’t stop bumping into cute girls.

This is like straight out of one of those comedy harem animes. Like all the mares are super into Flash but he really just wants to be left alone. And now he’s just accidentally crashed into LD.

I bout that Lightning Dust and Flash Sentry are related, but it could be a hell of a fan fiction idea. If the MLP staf get wind of this they both could get some development in season six or the comics of Friends Forever.
