Description
I made a partial recreation of the second OP of the anime [hajime no ippo] with equestria girls.
sunset shimmer = ippo makunouchi (main protag)
twilight sparkle = ichiro miyata (the main protag’s first and chief rival. both inspired the main protagonist to be better)
adagio dazzle = takeshi sendo (both can exceed the main protag’s main strength/beat them at their own game)
sci-twi = alexander volg zangief (both are outsiders looking to fit in and main/partial motivation is family based)
sadly there’s not enough appropriate images to do the full (TV sized) song but here’s the exact scene this was based on
