Thanks for correcting me I forgot that griffons existed
They were actually designed for griffons who were basically symbolic of the Talons from Fallout 3; mercenaries that would take any job. Though they struck me as less evil than the fallout 3 version - even honorable.
Unicorns were able to use the griffons’ weapons due to their magic, but the weapons were designed for griffon hands. And in some cases - usually by earth ponies since they tended to be the engineers in the FOE universe - griffon weapons were modified for pony use.
It Island widly accepted That theres guns in fallout equestria that look like that but are designed specificly for unicorns

The shotgun still looks like it was designed for a human with how the gun looks. Not a bad image in any respect as I think it looks fantastic. It’s just the firearms don’t fit. But then again pony made firearms fired from the mouth are just as silly as the recoil would knock their teeth out anyway.

The shotgun is technically made for a hoof. Pip’s pistol originally was the mouth-fire version, but the shape covered more camera space and “stood out” being we are used to the standard shape. I decided to just use the normal one.
