Indeed, sir; right you were.
So I was right. Booyah.
@Mugen Kagemaru
For the sake of interest, the artist who made this Undertale scene was not referring to any specific AU. They even address it in the description of the original post; he/she is aware that Frisk isn’t the fallen child, but wanted to draw Frisk here just because. Here’s the original image.
Edited because: formatting
Maybe the intent was simply to include Undertale and not specifically an AU thereof?
Maybe. It’d be weird to put an Undertale AU here.
I think it might be an AU similar to “A Dreamer Reborn” where Frisk willingly hands over their SOUL to Asriel
Oh shit you’re right. That’s really confusing given Asriel’s backstory.
And those people have beautiful minds.
Someone wrote these characters that never existed.
I considered this upon initial upload, but I’m not sure that it would take very well. It’s not necessarily the most common of memes, especially considering how (relatively) negative the reception of this particular image was for not even being controversial. ;p
“i’ve learned so much from the people who never existed”
Ah, and now we delve into the deep psychological and philosophical realm of ethics and how no moral compass is truly flawless. I love this kind of topic.
And yes, I’m well aware of the fact that I gave an obvious Troll undue attention. It’s just that his post suddenly got me thinking. My initial response was going to be “morals don’t matter?” Then I realized that to some folk who shout those sorts of things, like hard-core Objectivists, it doesn’t.
In fact, morality is paradoxically immoral there (in Objectivism), as kindness an altruism are treated as unnatural tools of parasites.
There’s a reason the alliance between Social Conservatives and Economic Conservatives never made sense: one is about preserving morality, while the other is about abandoning it.
So you get people who donate fortunes to charity while telling poor people to “get a job” without realizing the hypocrisy inherent in that.
I mainly meant Pikachu. He taught us about horde battles seventeen years before they even existed. Ash is just kinda in the way. ;p
Mewtwo, on the other hand…
Amen to this.
Our household only took out their front claws. My cat went outside a whole lot, never had an issue, and still caught chipmunks and stuff AAAAaaaalviiinn!. We’re also in a pretty sparsely populated area, though, so not much dog danger.
…except for one cat. He got up to like, 18 pounds, and got startled and jumped out of my brother’s arms. With all that force it was a pretty serious cut, so he lost his back claws, too. He was super chill, though, you could play with his limbs and he wouldn’t even care, lol. I think the idea was he was too slow to ever really make a break for it when we had the door open, heh.
Yeah I had one that was really affectionate. He even got a few compliments from house sitters. And then one day he was let out into the backyard and never heard from again. Moral of the story? Get used to your cat having claws because at least then they can protect themselves.
Eh, some cats. Or most. I’ve had a few that have been pretty affectionate and not mean at all - though skitterish.
