we’ve seen antagonists chased away, lose their homes and loved ones, obliderated by rainbows, turned into stone, blasted across equestria by sheer love power, burned to death by friendship, and humiliated. redemptions?
 
…nightmare moon MIGHT count, but it depends on whether you conider nightmare an alter-ego or a separate being entirely, and trixie’s and gilda’s remain to be seen. most of the others seem to have no redemption to speak of, other than silver spoon. i just see SS in the typical underappreciated lackey role, not wanting to follow along with diamond tiara, but only doing so to preserve their “friendship”.

If any antagonist in the show is completely irredeemable without sufficient horrifying trauma, it’s this one.
