At least in Naoko’s script for SNES Sailor Moon: Another Story, anime and manga Hotaru finally gets some goddamn closure from her otherwise melted/lobotomized dad.
Beyond that, Sailor Saturn’s life is a living hell of either being a medically drugged-out cyborg or a sailor scout who constantly switches from baby, preteen and adult, with constant prophesies of apocalypse about her.
