As far as I know it left you knew it was your fault, but you had no idea that it had happened when things went down, for if I remember correctly you had been on another errand by the time they activated the device which set off the nukes.

If I remember right the game leaves the reason you did it open doesn’t it? I think you can make it sound like you didn’t know what was in the box or you were all “If I can’t have it, no one will”.

I remember my melee/stealth character, I would go “Dancing with Deathclaws”
 
move in, slam them with my super sledge, move out to dodge their swipe, move back in again… it was actually pretty easy, especially with the perk that makes you melee attack knock enemies over
 
the higlhight of that character was oneshotting the legendary deathclaw with a super sledge sneak attack!

At level 50 it wasn’t so bad. Except the first time I went in because I managed to alert EVERYTHING AT ONCE to my presence and they all dogpiled me. The next time I managed a more measured approach.

Honestly, the deathclaws weren’t really a problem for me. I just zapped them with a LAER I got from Old World Blues, offed them pretty quickly.
