Twilight’s box says “Crystal Wings”, and I’m assuming this line includes Dash, Sunset, and Twi. I don’t think this implies anything special, it’s just a gimmick to sell toys like
The Charm Wings brushables.

What do you mean that’s not Dash? She has blue hair, blue skin, red motif, and there have been no other new characters announced!
All of the dolls and toys look terrible. Fortunately, the characters in the shows never look like their toy.

That character on the left looks to be principal celestia, so she has the same kind of wings as the other two alicorn characters.

Rainbow Dash and Twilight both have similar wings, so why is Sunset the exception?
Rainbow power. There’s 6 super modes. And they all look terrible.
Given how virtually no character in the show has a super mode besides twilight, that’s a pretty specific characteristic.
You mean being the best character as well as the only one to so far have a good aligned super mode that’s actually cool?

I’d rather she retain her position as a mystic and soothsayer. I suspect the reason they’ve waited so long to introduce characters like her and the villains like Chrysalis, Discord, etc… is so they can actually be kept as magical beings in an Equestria Girls movie/series that involves Human magic. Personally I think they need to distance the series a bit from the high school setting. Not completely, but just a bit.
