Yeah, Chinese New Year really love fireworks. Folklore said it is to scare off the evil. But really, most people would simply say the bustling sounds feel more lively. I’m ok with the noise, but I’m quite concern the potential pollution it might cause. I hope in the future, it can be replaced with some alternative since what most people want is the feeling of liveliness. I heard from the news that due to air pollution, mainland China had some restriction for using fire works. The report said that it make the festival less lively, but I genuinely think it’s for the best.”
