@sixtyfour215 Go ahead. To be honest, there’s almost nothing going with the character beyond his popping that balloon and his distinct appearance, and since people seem to like shipping him with Pinkie, it would make sense to have him compliment her in that way.

I love this. I still maintain that Pokey is Pinkie’s opposite, with the same fourth wall breaking powers and everything, he just uses them to FIX holes in the 4th wall instead of causing them. I’d also like to think that he has a “Pokey Sense” powered by narrativium; he popped the balloon Applebloom was hiding under at Diamond Tiara’s cutecenera because he sensed that it would help move the plot along. That’s why he has a safety pin cutie mark; he holds the seams of stories together.
