Forgot to forward a pic of that marine’s shoulder pad/pauldron to show what I meant by painting REALLY fine details.

This is definitely one of my best attempts at doing a pony face on one of the marine’s shoulder pads.

That sounds like a plan. Definitely. You wouldn’t want them to get stolen after putting so much work into them.
I think the best plan would be to have a look through those when we head over to the food court for lunch. Don’t know if they’d be safe carting them in to the place itself. Probably too busy and nowhere to have a look at them.

I’ll be leaving them in the car I should think. Probably too busy actually in the convention.
I’ll be fetching a lot of it with me when we’re at that convention, so you may yet get to see some of them first-hand.

That model isn’t exactly small.
The gunship is about… 2 foot long, roughly, and has a 17” wingspan.
The shoulder pad/pauldron on the Snowdrop themed marine there, by contrast, is smaller than my finger nail.
Wow, it must be hard painting all the little details on such a small surface.
At the moment, it looks like this, only covered in dust because nothing’s been done at it in ages.
