Thanks for that info. The more you know!
I think is just useless. Why not simply the eaquestria tribe. Or the crystal tribe to be more specific.
Oh yeah, what with the infamous “Seige” of the Crystal Empire that had Rarity tell us her hand slipped.
Neil Uyetake is the Letterer/Proofreeder for the FIM comics and several other IDW titles, and he drops the typo ball like a drunken shortstop with a Teflon-coated glove.
@Itsthinking
…I don’t get it.
Uyetake do English good.
Tangent time!
“Cow” can acceptably refer to any mature female of the Bos genus, which does include yaks. However, in practice, only Bos taurus are referred to as cows.
The word yak itself is, like most other foreign words in English, used wrong. In the original Tibetan, yak (or gyag) refers only to the male of the species – the female is a dri or a nak.
And BB will still get it wrong.
That or he learns that Yaks honor peace/trade treaties by marrying one of their cows* off to the ambassador, and… “Shiny, my cousin Cadance won’t mind you bringing a second wife back, will she?”
Obviously the industry needs to publish more readily available statistics about its error-correction in editing phase.
Fleecs seem to draw his ponies better than his humans.
Considering this is the second time I’ve seen this panel on this website and I only noticed it on this one, I’m inclined to agree. Doesn’t stop me from having a chuckle, though.
I hadn’t even noticed it until you pointed it out. I’d say that indicates that it’s pretty inconsequential.
>a issue with yaks
>people going on about something “not perfect”
I only wish this was satire.
Could you not?
Am I the only person who doesn’t think a single typo in a 22-page book means the entire book is garbage and no one bothered to spellcheck? I mean it’s not like there is any data available on the errors that they caught during editing. It’s impossible for us to determine the ratio of errors corrected to those missed.
Really getting desperate there.
What talk about? Twilight make good word.
Oh good, further proof that this comic is gonna be almost as bad as the Siege comic.
