Some cons, like my family and all being gone… But, terrible truth is you’ll outlive your parents, anyways, and as close as you are to everyone else, you’ll be able to get that close to ponies in Equestria. You’ll even have siblings there - though it’ll be really interesting to see how they feel about this, because from their perspective, Rarity suddenly starts acting differently and says she’s someone else.
 
You may be able to prove it (I think I would with scientific knowledge), but Rarity’s family and friends would still just feel like Rarity just suddenly changed drastically, rather than feeling like you’re not her, thanks to you inhabiting her body.
 
Plus, I’d be a beautiful, attractive mare… Which might actually be an issue? I hope Equestria would be okay with me living with a mare eventually… Either that or I inhabiting her body would mean I’m now subject to her hormones, therefore attracted to stallions? :q
 
I’d probably pick up what I can of the business and hand/hoof it off to Coco Pommel or Sassy Saddles to help me tremendously, while I make a study with chalkboards to do work upstairs, bringing modern science about that would revolutionize Equestria’s understanding of the universe, if what’s in my head is still true there.
 
At least math will still be true. Purely logical constructs can’t, by definition, be wrong.
 
Though it’s debatable if physics can be different or not. It’s all so self consistent, it probably can’t be different, imo - magic would just be physics we haven’t discovered yet, do all the other physics I know would still be correct in the domain of the theory. Ie, gravity would still be accurately described by General Relativity.
