Personally, I would prefer we just remain on DST all the time, as I prefer that extra bit of sunny daylight. Then again, I would prefer all Taco Bell burritos be stuffed with actual money and that hasn’t happened yet either.

I grew up on a farm, and I never understood why people thought it had anything to do with farmers. They work from “can see” to “can’t see” every day, regardless of what the clock says. It’s the people who work regular hours that benefit (as long as they don’t have children who get run over by school buses because it’s now dark in the morning - that happened during the energy shortages in the ’70s when DST was stupidly extended into the winter).
I spent some time on a farm myself, yet ALMOST EVERYONE complains about having to wake up earlier, even the farmers.
