Really for the most part I like Rated’s stories but if I had one major issue with most of them its that he tends to make things pointless complex. Like the Assassination verse stuff it started out good but it gets needlessly complicated and contrived pretty quick after the first story.
 
Some of them (like this one) feel like he had an ok idea for an original story but figured no one would read it and put an MLP skin over it to get some more views.

I never really got into Hellsing anyway. Tried once, failed, didn’t try again. It’s not a terrible anime, just not my kind. And yeah, this is just beginning to seem like a total ripoff. I’m hoping we’ll at least get to see Berry and/or Pinchy soon

You could ahve a vamprie element i suppose, but not this nonsense and the guy ripping off hellsing……. And somehow mind reading working when someone is trying ti rip your head off >_<

I have to kind of agree in a way - I thought the heart of this story was poor Berry Punch and her daughter, her Berry’s sobering from her addictions leading to joining a dodgy cult, and her friends stepping in to really help her. This “edgy vampire specter action” mumbo jumbo is getting a bit out of hand

His stuf is always contrived. And if it was just THIS story, i might ignore it. But EVERYTHING he does takes this blatant and, honestly, compeltely lazy liberties rather than working with the material given.
 
He even made a story where somehow celestia is evil, invades humans, inexplicably gets her ass kicked by theh umans cause somehow they make anti magic something.  
The motivation? He makes up some shit that the sun in equestrai was dying, despite having FUCKING DISCORD AND THE TREE OF HARMONY TO HELP WITH THAT!!
 
The worst part is that the writing is bad too. Outside of raw plot contrivance, his characterization is very off. Beyond making celestia evulz and giving very bad reasoning for her actions, he writes them like mouth pieces rather than characters. Little emotion to it.
 
Sighs. Guy is just banking on old popularity and people creating an echo chamber for him, drowning out even constructive crticism.
