Yeah, I immediately thought about those kinds of breeds, which is a nice detail, but well, it makes the design feel a bit busy when they add his wizard/other garments. Almost Donut Steel OC. It’s Something that doesn’t feel that way with other ponies like Fancy Pants, Shining Armor or good ol’ Applejack.
I always support simple, yet effective designs when it comes to the ponies.
But well, it’s not really something to lose sleep over. I still love Sunburst after all.
I think he is based on a kind of horse with the same markings, most likely a Shire type.
I’m still not found of the white spots in his design, though.
I dunno. The ad’s been out for a few weeks.
