@orbsah
Or that Hasbro isn’t aware of Faust’s tweet that was never mentioned or confirmed canon in-show.
They do have a tendency to screw up the merch’ too. Remember when they didn’t even call Trixie’s toy “Trixie” at first?
Also, all these “Hasbro is trying to get rid of Trixie” comments are kinda hilarious in hindsight now considering Trixie did finally return.
Lol, people find conspiracies against characters when there is none.
Quoted for truth. Reminds me of back when people thought they were trying to get rid of Derpy while official T-shirts, and such of the character were popping up at Hot Topic, and such.
Even ignoring the tweet why the fuck can’t she have gone to the school.
Still I would rather think she just never went then the suggested compromise she’s one of the best magicians in equestria of course she would graduate.
The real disturbing thing is they vetoed something so incredibly minor and then allowed the crappy story through
@The Smiling Pony
I swear I remember him saying he doesn’t actually feel that way about Trixie and he’s just joking around, and his actual favorite pony is Twi.
If the stuff Faust says on social media about the first two seasons is Word Of God, does that mean the stuff Hasbro Corporate says behind the scenes is Word Of The Almighty Dollar?
we already know the dollar is a fake god just like superman
@TexasUberAlles
That was only the end of it. Before that he was doing the same with two dragons, Flare and Cinder. He was spamming threads constantly about how obsessed he was about them and dragons he was infamously known on /tg/ for it.. There’s also that one FF post…
@TexasUberAlles
Pretty much this. Despite everything she is still a minor character and so share the same spots as, say, bulk biceps. She might come back once again for a single ep but don’t expect another Starlight.
@Itsthinking
they haven’t come up with a good enough story and don’t want to throw her in one ‘‘just because’’
There you go. The show is full of characters who got a second appearance and that’s that, indefinitely; Trixie’s on that list. They’d probably bring back the Unicorn in a hat who sold Pinkie a banner one time if they thought they could make a good episode with her, but as Celestia shows (over and over and %$&# over again) they’ll stamp [DENIED] on a major character if they can’t think of a way to make an episode to justify the wait.
@The Smiling Pony
What is more likely is that it has the same explanation as a theoretical Celestia episode: they haven’t come up with a good enough story and don’t want to throw her in one “just because.”
Don’t really feel this strongly about them exactly but I’m reminded of the phrase “Don’t assume malice where incompetence is an adequate answer.”
@Background Pony #12CB
He used to push Trixie a whole lot more on EqD; every other post mentioned her, pretty much, and one in every 5 articles or so was filler with Trixie. It was kind of “his schtick”, I guess, to have an identity other than “The head EqD guy” (which I guess is better than mine of “irascible petty asshole”), but a lot of Trixie fans feel he may have gone “too far” and either make the staff actively dislike her (getting asked about her in every other interview or her mentioned in every fan article you read) or avoid her so as to not be accused of pandering.
I’m seriously starting to wonder if Seth’s obsession with her didn’t turn them off.
I’m serious, she’s high in my for me but seeing him posting about her again and again really turned me off at time. “Joke” or not, if it was a brand the sellout levels would be high and tiring. Especially when you know how Seth was before.

That would make sense.
I was thinking during the episode that he might have been the original intended character design for the magic bro Trixie started out as.
Also I will never not be mad about this.

hence why I said “Anderson is talking out of his ass.”

Wait you mean the flare that /tg/ took and gave a huge makeover that flare was seth
He said that a couple times, the traitor.

maybe they want to focus to Starlight for now

Shrug.
He apparently went kinda nuts during S1– before EqD happened– RPing Trixie on 4chan.
What was Seth like before?

I guess we’ll see.
@Mike
I still have hope.
More like out of fear of toy sales.
