Emerald wakes up, and after giving a long yawn and a stretch steps out of his cot.
 
Emerald decides to go get some food like usual.
 
He walks up the stairs to the kitchen. Ruby sees him, and smiles. She then brings over some of the hard tack and dried fruit (again, argh!) and sits down near Emerald.
 
Emerald decides to try and flirt with her with some lines he read in a book recently.
 
Emerald says that she is guilty of being a hot wench, and that she is sentenced to walk his plank.
 
Ruby gives him a raised eyebrow and says, “what?”
 
Emearld then asks, “Arrr you free this Saturday?”
 
Ruby let’s out a muffled giggle, “Oh god, you aren’t serious with this are you?”
 
Emerald says that she puts the shiver in his timbers.
 
Ruby let’s out the laughter fully, and slams her hoof on the table a few times before saying, “Oh god, those are AWFUL. Got any more?”
 
Emerald can’t think of any more from the book that aren’t wildly imappropriate, so he just shakes his head. They talk for a while, and then Emerald decides to go find Joyride.
 
Curiously, he can’t seem to do so. He looks almost everywhere he can get into on the ship, and it isn’t until he rounds the deck a third time that he notices the Captain and Joyride sitting in the Captain’s Quarters and talking. It looks rather serious, whatever it is. They are sitting across from each other, a map between them as they poke and draw lines with their hooves along the thing. Bo is there two, but he is standing apart and watching the situation without remarking.
