Description

Just really curious…

For those that that don’t, Trade paper backs are a collection of issues (as far as I know) that will probably start around the time issue “6” comes out, and will be collecting (at least for IDW) issues 1-4 of the comic series… so you will be kind of behind the others..

but with the trade paper backs, they will have an art gallery in the back, that will more than likely have all 4 issues multi-variant covers with text-less images… so. in that case it’s cheaper than buying SEVERAL copies of even just one issue…

They usually only do “trade paperbacks” if the comic is successful. So it depends on how well the MLP comic does.
I have some of the Sonic ones, and a Ninja Turtle one.

I actually don’t buy much online if I can get it at a store, so I’d probably buy them as they come out, which wouldn’t be too often anyway since the closest bookstore of any kind in about an hour away….

Buying as they come. I’m probably gonna go back and get the box set, too, before I no longer can. (I am still traumatized over the trading card incident.)

I will more than likely just download the TPBs for completion, though, unless they have significant additional content.
Background Pony #440F
Do we even know if TPB’s are gonna happen? They often don’t for “kids” comics.

So yeah, I’ll be buying as they come out at first, then a subscription if I like it.

If I can find a local place that sells the comics then I’ll buy them as they come out. If not, I’ll wait until an omnibus or sorts comes out and order it online.

My purchasing decisions is based almost solely upon local availability.
