I remember back in the late 90’s where a certain comic book was the talk of the town. Almost everyone in my school drew this character with dark, gritty lines all over. What made him fun, and at the same time challenging to draw, was the cape and chains.
 
It’s been 19 years now and i have fallen out of practice. I don’t draw dark, gritty stuff as much now, but i felt that the it would be good practice to once again draw capes in dynamic poses. A Great and Powerful Pony volunteered to be my model, and I think the new look suits her.
