Sweetiemash was Ian’s thing and noone needs to subscribe to it, but making OOC fix fics to “disprove” it is a whole other level.

I’m familiar with the reference. I find it highly unlikely that DHX Media would have scrapped his puppet after the “Hearts and Hooves Day” episode. We can’t forget that a legal firm sent Jan Animations a Cease and Desist order for his use of Button Mash in his series “Button’s Adventures”.

I suppose I have to explain the tag since no one else seems to get it:  
Liquid Button is a refrence to the Metal Gear character Liquid Snake, who, like the “main” character, Solid Snake, is a clone of the same guy (but who that is isnt important). Liquid at one point confesses to Solid that he feel Solid is a superior clone.
 
Button, who was first introduced in the “Find the Perfect Stallion” song, was essentially throw away character, and the flash puppet was presumably scrapped once the episode was done.  
Once the fandom took a liking to him however, they eventually brought him back. However, since they  
basically had to remake the entire puppet, the colours are a bit off, (IE, his coat is a bit to light), there by making him the “inferior clone” of the origional button.
 
Also, y’know, button likes video games… so Metal Gear.

I don’t know why somebody felt the need to create a liquid button tag. We already have one for button mash.
