Wrong cobra leader: Serpentor was the one who always said “This I command!”
Viper: Sir? Even Spike?
Cobra Commander: Yesssss!
Quick! Some one! Do something!
to elaborate further, some of the comparisons are waaaay offbase (favoring one over the other)
“trigun is a good show because unlike teenage mutant ninja turtles who carry deadly weapons but don’t hurt anyone, in this show, people get hurt!”
yeah same problem over here (for one, comics have become much more expensive) that independent comic stores are pratically nonexistent (as well as scans have rendered some stores to be really unprofitable).
I like many kinds of cartoons, even more from the 80’s and 90’s because they had some originality and some even real quality.
And comic shops are rare in some europe countries, in my country have only the biggest cities comic shops! No joke, getting comics from oversea during my childhood was not possible.
I think they were released as ‘action force’ in europe.
still, kinda sucks that when some reviewers compare 90s and 80s action cartoons as ‘baby crap’ because they shy away from characters being hurt or killed.
I was not expecting ‘realistic’, heck, it was normal for the cartoons with bad guys in that time. But i never got to read the comic version of G.I. Joe, because europe, you know.
“I got this!”
expecting 80s cartoons to be ‘realistic’
I’d get it though.
In the cartoon, maybe. The comic version of Cobra was much more competent.
