So the gist is people think they know more about Shakespeare then they actually do, because high school English literature classes generally tend to do the more famous ones?
 
That doesn’t really surprise me. At all.
 
That said, the idea of The Lion King as a Frankenstein’s Monster made of various Shakespeare plays stitched together seems much better than a straight rip-off (and is also a hilarious mental image), because I don’t really it as the pinnacle of animation that everyone else seems to. Ever since I was a kid, to me, Aladdin always beat it out within the Renaissance Era, and Fantasia trumped all in the full Canon.
 
(No hipsto -though honestly, saying Fantasia is the best is almost as clichéd- that’s just my personal preference.)

Right? I loved those games. It was damn near impossible to find all three, but they only wanted like $8 a pop at Gamestop. Not popular but hard to find????  
So disappointed with the direction they took with Spyro… Skylanders is fun in its own right, but it’s not a Spyro game, dammit.
