Well before he pulled on Garbles ear,he and Ember were locked in a hold with him on top and garble on the bottom,a disadvantageous position. After Spike pulled on Garbles ear and Garble was forced to pull him off,you see( after the scene of spike holding on to the edge) Ember and Garble still grip locked but this time Ember was apparently able to get on her feet and hold Garble on equal footing which allowed her to do her roll suplex thing. So Spike actually did help out a lot with that tug.

Well its much easier to roll a boulder off of something than to life a boulder off you when your chest is pinned (restricting breathing) as well as having to life something with your arms vertically,much more efffort than rolling,have to extend your muscles fully from the ground.
Plus I believe that Garble could have rolled the boulder off himself since he appered instantly fine after it was rolled off and spoke causally to spike,he just wanted to see if he would be “soft” enough to help a competitor (which spike did) so he could mock him.
Spike easily pushed off a boulder Garble could hardly lift. Don’t know why Spike couldn’t have done anything in the ending fight scene.
This was a badass moment, though, and I love how it transitions from a intense fight scene with dragons to Twilight and Rarity being cute.
Many of WWE’s top stars hail from Canada. Brett Hardt, Bobby Roode, Tyler Breeze, the list goes on.
@Power-Up&Sky-Blue
For some reason I expect to see Canadian wrestling filled with Eh’s and other Canadian phrases.
Heh, Canadians are weird!
I’ll stop this violence the only way I know how: WITH MORE VIOLENCE!!!
I…think I get it.

Makes sense. It still would have been satisfying seeing Spike contribute to the fight other than pulling on Garble’s ear.
