Incredible that something that happen in the past still present in the actual days….its pretty sad. But you are right the fandoms will never change. Sometimes i started to think they are the worst….just for this stupid ship war..
Hey I didn’t started this shebang O.O.! I just shared my thoughts, and I ended my participation here with a “we’ll see”.
No, I’m not saying that at all. Did you not see my “both are as bad as each other” comment? All you people do is shout “canon!” at each other. Do you really think either side is going to stop if that behaviour continues? I blocked someone for leaving ridiculous “pedophilia” comments on my art. Now they can’t comment. The end. I’m not going to waste my time with them.
You’re saying it like theres no dislestia shippers coming into discoshy images and comments with “eww” or pedophilia comment. My comment was mostly caused by the dislestia shipper thinking that its even a remotely teased pairing in the show, not to mention focused in the future intentionally and probably so was the other anon. But i guess it was probably a bait in the first place now that i look at it. Anyway i’m not going to reply further as i don’t want this thread to devolve into drama tag.
Look, I’m a big Fluttercord shipper but even I hate it when people go on a shipping pic that isn’t their ship and tell the artist that it needs to die already. I hate shipping wars with the fire of ten thousand suns, and since being more active on Deviantart I’ve seen them EVERYWHERE and it’s always between the Fluttercord and Dislestia people. They both have their incredibly obnoxious shippers, creating macros about why their ship is better than this ship, leaving nasty comments on art that doesn’t depict their ship etc. Neither side is better than the other from what I’ve seen.
Here’s a novel idea: If someone is nasty to you about your ship, instead of fueling the flames, block them. Be the better person and rise above it.
And if you don’t like a ship, if it REALLY upsets you that much to look at it, there are these things called filters.
God, sometimes I wish I shipped Piecord or Twicord instead. Those people are NICE to each other.
What? Jim already said that this ship isn’t going to happen. He himself is a big Discord fan and the only thing that he made toward any shipping is adding a discoshy picture on Discord bed stand in Twilight Kingdom. The show is obviously going toward that pairing while Celestia was already shipped with Sombra by Hasbro. There is more chance of Dicord getting together with Applebloom than with Celestia.
Whatever makes you happy kid, don’t hold in too tight though…

That decision is not for the voice actors to make, hell, even Big Jim’s (for the most part), the decision is for the main demographic of the show to make (alongside some writers), if Discord have had more interactions with Celestia, this ship would make more sense, but since Fluttershy and Discord had more interactions of those of a couple, the picture is quite clear for the viewers, imagine how the benefices would be for Hasbro if they made products of this idea (I’m not saying this wouldn’t work with Celestia, but right now she seems more of a god figure, destined to not have a pairing, same goes for Luna).
Sorry if it wasn’t clear enough or too long, I’m not justifying anything or trying to change your mind, it’s just my view on how things may end up to be, heck, maybe the mane 6 will never get married in the show
