“I did this totally just for fun. Never made shipping kids before so this is a first. Also, Alicorn Princess Sunset Shimmer because of reasons. This pretty much follows my Sunset-and-Twilight-become-the-new-rulers-of-Equestria-after-Celestia-and-Luna Headcanon, Only this time they have kids too! Princess Moms. I like the idea.  
Well, here are my two ridiculous SunLight kids, who go by the names Nova Dawn and Dusk Eclipse. (I might change Nova’s colors/hairstyle later, depending but for now im just stickin with these.)

Race: Unicorn  
Gender: Male  
Birth Parents: ??  
Adoptive Parents: Twilight Sparkle(mother) + Sunset Shimmer(mother)  
Cutie Mark: A Solar Eclipse  
Personality: A pretty smug and snarky jerk. He doesn’t really make friends very easily and he doesn’t really have any friends outside of his family. He’s primarily interested in studying alicorn magic and often gets jealous of his own sister, who is naturally more powerful at magic than he is even though shes younger and isn’t even interested in studying magic like their parents. While most of the time he looks totally grumpy, whenever he’s with his moms he just generally cheers up.  
Story: Dusk is the older sibling of the two, but he was adopted after Nova’s birth by Sunset and Twilight. He’s a pretty gifted at magic since a young age, even going to Celestia’s school for gifted unicorns. However, he was shunned by people because his cutie mark was perceived as a bad omen (after all nothing good ever came from an Eclipse). Sunset saw him and knew someone like him could easily be led down a dark path so she chose to intervene and showed him the compassion he needed. Later, she and Twilight decided to adopt him after they learned he was orphaned and they’ve been a family ever since.

Gender: Female  
Cutie Mark: A Vortex of Stars  
Birth Parents: Twilight Sparkle(mother) + Sunset Shimmer(birth mother)  
Personality: A natural adventure seeker through and through, she’d much rather spend her time exploring than reading. While she tends to put up a generally cheery facade in public, she’s actually not hyped about being a princess. She’s never been a fan of the idea that she was destined to be a ruler of equestria and doesn’t do well with big responsibility. She somehow manages to be both over-energentic and lazy as all get out (I can understand that). What a princess.  
Story: Alicorn magic does weird stuff. Thats all the explanation I got for ya! Anyways, at first her mother’s were keeping her birth a secret until she was a bit older, so she could have some semblance of normal childhood without celebrity status. She was introduced to the public a little after she got her cutie mark, ultimately she was the one that decided it was time to reveal herself.
 
Nova and Eclipse have this sort of comradery and rivalry all at the same time. Nova, being an alicorn is a natural master of magic but doesn’t care for her role of royalty or the heavy responsibility that comes with it, meanwhile Eclipse works all his life to try and master magic. However, despite all that they’re still each other’s best friends and often times find themselves working together to save the world, though they will fight and bicker a lot as many siblings do. They’re also both fairly good friends with their cousin Flurry over in the Crystal Empire as well as Spike, (who i suppose is a pretty big dragon at this point)
