And on a related note, this is the main reason I’m willing to give the new Glimglim a chance: it gives the writers a character who’s not very experienced at this friendship thing and can thus make mistakes while still being believable and sympathetic. Sure, they could’ve used Gilda or Trixie in that role, but that would require plucking them out of their current settings. I’m wondering if perhaps Diamond Tiara and/or Silver Spoon can perform the same role in relation to the CMC.
