This started out as a silly idea in my head; a parody version of the photo the mane six send to Celestia in the opening sequence of My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. This is the first time I have drawn the mane six all together in one picture and is probably the most characters I have had in one picture too. (Apart from sprite sheets of course but those aren’t online)
 
Now that I look at it, I think this picture sums up a more realistic depiction of what friendships can be like sometimes. You fight, argue, cause accidents, have misunderstandings, and then there’s always the one stuck in the middle not knowing what to do or say. Although the show does have conflicts and deals with issues in friendships in a more realistic way (as in it doesn’t dumb it down for a young …or stupid…audience.) but I do worry that its still not exactly showing conflicts realistically, like they’re always wrapped in the episode they happen in. It would be interesting to see if MLP could have some kind of falling out and have it continue into the following episode. I don’t know. What do you guys think?
