@Stotter
Eh. Apparently, the production code of The Fault In Our Cutie Marks indicates it was to be aired several weeks ago, but of course delayed for an undisclosed reason likely involving production issues of the episode, other upcoming S06 episodes, LoE, or other DHX projects. Or its an episode meant for a future holiday.
(If its airing is meant to accommodate a national holiday involving a form of cancer, I’m going to jump off a bridge. XD )

Ah, yes. I’d think putting a mid-season hiatus is to make the blocks more frequent. The gap between S04 and S05 took over a year because they decided to stockpile one entire season, instead of the proceeding method. Why it was longer than the gap between S01 and S02… Actually, that may have been due to the stretched resources caused by EG, the 2017 film, and relocating said resouces from HUB offices to DF offices. Well, DHX probably didn’t, but it’d still have taken a toll on getting any post-pro done.
@Soarinjack
How? There’s a certain unknown reason all cartoons since 2012-3 now come in volumes instead of seasons. Why would FiM change this itinerary? (Note that nopony knows why they are now categorized by volumes, but that it’s somehow more efficient or economical, and not only HUB or DF, but also Disney XD and Nickelodeon.)
Not sure why they insist on starting the season in spring. Putting the season premiere in October means they can avoid a mid-season hiatus. I guess there’s some rationale behind it, but I can’t imagine this is a good idea ratings-wise.
Camp Friendship has no televisions to watch, just bonfires and parasprite zappers. The latter often accidentally responsible for the former, but they just make the best of it.
But Hasbro puts the new episodes out when the foals are home to watch them.

Sadly, no cute maid outfit :(
Gee, and I never thought I’d be the next person who thought of that.
SeraphimDawn was comparing it to “Can you spare a dime”, it ended like a mixture of that and “Cousin Stanley”
It is, kinda…
YES!
>If he makes Flutters wear a maid outfit
If this happens, I call this episode the best of the season
That was literally like a mid chapter end boss battle.
@LeoNero
If he makes Flutters wear a maid outfit.
JACKPOT!
On the other hand, the hiatus for season 7 will be a lot shorter, however.
maybe they can have both spring and fall related episodes in their respective seasons. I hope so, atleast.

“volumes” has nothing to do with scheduling. Seasons before 5 also come in volumes, but still were scheduled without months long hiatus.

I, for one, am stoked as shit for the hiatus…mainly because I’ve got a lot of MLP griping to catch up on.
You’re not the only one:
Why it’s Episode 12 anyway? It’s supposed to be Episode 13 (aka moved episode)
But Hasbro puts the new episodes out when the foals are home to watch them.
Hopefully it’s BETTER though.
