“So far, just fine as long as Steven doesn’t start one of his revolution speeches again.”
 
“I was wondering why all unicorns aren’t nice like you. I even feel like we could have been friends if we had met before I became a slave.”
 
You take a sip of you wine. It’s a lot more bitter than you expected, but after you swallow, you feel a pleasing warmth well up from the core of your body and the aftertaste is really quite pleasing. Maybe it’s just because this is the only thing you’ve had to drink besides water but, you really like it. Maximilian looks away for a bit and looks back. “The unicorns you’ve met may not be the best example of our society on the whole… Although I can’t say I was much different before my accident. Really, I believe I was a much different stallion before I was turned away from the military. I really had nothing before Mr. Patright took pity on me.”
