Emerald looks to see if he picked up any more books with information on the Giant Wasps, or on how to avoid hypnotism, but the ones he has don’t enlighten him on the creatures any more than the first book did.
 
He might look again later, but for now the colt decides to read the intermediate magic book he found. Most of these spells seem far outside his ability to do, but he thinks he finds two of the lower end intermediate spells that he may be able to learn.
 
Which one does Emerald attempt to learn?
 
-TRENCH: Immediately creates a large foxhole in the ground within five feet of the caster.
 
-DWEOMERIC SHIELD: Creates a small barrier centered around an object or person. Can easily fit 2-3 pony sized creatures.
 
-WHIRLWIND: Creates a small blast of wind strong enough to blow around light objects or disorient flying things.
