Indeed… Amazing he still voiced the character perfectly in his 90s. He last voiced him in “Duck Tales: Remastered,” (Wayford’s awesome remake of the beloved Capcom NES game) and in a recent Mickey Mouse Youtube official short.

Don’t know, hopefully somebody who can sound similar to him. Young was the best Scrooge voice.
I wonder who will play the role of Scrooge McDuck now that Alan Young is gone?
I guess it didn’t sell well, ‘cause honestly it was kinda hard to find. They had a “Chip & Dale Rescue Rangers” comic for awhile too, but don’t know if it’s still around.
They’re also making a new Duck Tales cartoon, I hear. (Which is both cool, and saddening, as Allen Young the VA of Scrooge McDuck passed away recently.)
So what was the problem?
Judging from the previews, it looked good, and the art was spot-on with the show. Had some continuity callbacks with the show too.
Was the comic any good?
Yep, in fact Sibsy (famed pony storyboarder) helped do art for it. She loves her duckies.
There was a comic revival?
Shame the comic revival of that show was unsuccessful…
