Personally I like the idea of Celestia as Mercy more. Does very little herself, mostly helps the others do things, it’s like she was born for the role! But seriously, I gotta give props to this artist for not doing the predictable thing and making Fluttershy the healer like so many other artists are content to do.

Yes, this is so true. The creator of this image did Sunset as Mercy which fits a lot bettem imo, especially since Mercy had that take my hand moment in one of the preview videos, just like Sunset had it in Friendship Games.

Fluttershy actually makes more sense as Mei than she does as Mercy in my opinion.
Too many people make Fluttershy the healer for the sake of making her the healer.
It used to be cute, but now it just comes off as lazy and unimaginative.
