Again in response to a comment in the last image, lamenting Starlight and Spike not being invited to Manehattan for Rarity For You’s opening, here they are, being interviewed by Buried Lede. Starlight probably wouldn’t have a whole lot to say about Rarity or fashion, but Spike would give his dear friend a glowing review. He’s good like that.

Indeed it has.
I don’t really see any romance blooming between them.. Rather I just see them as being really good friends. But that’s what fanfics are for. The Ponyverse is a big place. Anything that can happen, has happened, in a parallel timeline.
That’d be awesome! Or maybe they stayed back and furthered the Sparlight ship? Hee hee…so many possibilities.
Maybe she and Spike went to visit Ember in the Dragonlands?
