Then Radiant Hope kidnap Flurry Heart, and Shining Armor, Gizmo, 8-bit and Gaffer use the Smooze to animate the statue of liberty and fight Sombra.

Apparently not. That, and perhaps they’re too convinced of their own genius and the importance of their pet cause to think those experiences should apply to their own work.
I wonder why it is that some people in the entertainment industry actually need to be told this. Didn’t everyone have to sit through one of ‘those’ books or movies or TV shows as a child? The kind that isn’t read for amusement but simply to impress you with whatever the creator’s Great Cause is, and is hated by just about every kid who has it force-fed to them?
The last two years have really left a lot of critics with egg on their faces, haven’t they? And you can see the backlash as well. There was a CBS article lamenting the fact that ponies have the gall to prefer entertainment when they spend their money over being lectured.
Me, I can’t believe how many people take the critics all that seriously.

It’s not a
bad movie, well it kinda was but at least it was overall enjoyable.People judge it by the standard of the original.
At least, there were no cliche action sequences and no ghost got shot in the nuts…
Or maybe I should say critics who say that.
