Surely, anyone would have the materials needed in 74 or less boxes? Why would anyone ever take the offer?
 
Shout outs to the Amazon Underground version, where the boxes cost 1 gem a piece and the gems themselves are much easier to get; the downside is that there just genuinely doesn’t seem to be any way to get a lot of ponies, as events are much more limited (solo events that last for two days, give 5 gems, and are either getting a certain amount of points in the mine / dance minigame or collect 200 shards) and the What’s Hot collection is permanently blank, it seems… It beats the horribly obnoxious ads and deals by a mile, however.

I have 512 gems initially when I see this “dress offer”, as shown in the previous snapshot.
 
If my calculation was correct, I just used up 30 gems for this outfit, which I’d open the material boxes six time in order to craft the pricey dress.  
Then, I gained another 2 gems just now from the town.
 
So… I had spend around like 28 gems for today, and I just remember that I still haven’t tap and received my reward yet, which is 30 gems.
 
So, I gained 2 gems for today in overall. XD
