I like the idea of all three of those ponies being Elements of Magic.
The resolution to more than one pony being caught with the same element, like magic, is being booted off to another universe, preferably one lacking in magic, where you perform your magical pony elements work without disturbing Princess Celestia’s pet projects. :P
I’ve read suggestions such as Forgiveness, Atonement, Respect, etc.
The element of allowing people to think for themselves? :P
I’m not sure what Element Starlight could be.
Only if they come up with a script that calls for, but chances are, it was a one time use plot element.
How many more seasons will MLP:FiM run for before they finally run their last episode and end this generation of MLP? Has there been any confirmation for how long it will run?
Because otherwise I’m inclined to believe the voice actors and actresses will keep on churning out pony voices and songs for this brightly colored pony show.

I wonder what the odds are of a new antagonist/friend being added after Sunset Shimmer and Starlight Glimmer? Let’s keep Twilight Sparkle’s harem of pastel colored counterparts growing!

Actualy it’s the Mane 9 if you include Spike.
Twilight Sparkle and Sunset Shimmer being the successors to the Princesses with Starlight Glimmer being the new Element of Magic.
