It had been a while since Blaze had snuggled his wife and maid. So he sat himself down in the middle of the floor, Luna soon joining and leaning on him. Rosemary giggled and joined, sitting in front of him, looking up at the large stallion with a smile. In response, Blaze gently draped a hoof over her back, smiling back at her
Because Blaze loves Luna and he and Rosemary are just friends.
Then why not just marry both and be done with it? Honestly love is too complicated for that to work long term since one gets more attention than the other. Rather silly to me but to others love doesn’t seem to important.
I’ll say this in the simplest terms: Blaze fucks both of them. Luna is the wife, Rosemary is his friend, maid and cock sleeve.
Ugh, I’m just overreacting and worrying about nothing. I do this like every week with him and it makes me feel bad. I’m just so insecure and I wanna make him happy. We actually had a really long talk last night and it really made me feel better about things uwu I’m just gonna keep drawing because it’s something I love and it makes me happy. (◕‿◕✿)
Well I hope you can find a way to make it work out better between you two cause really, if you have a girlfriend then you probably shouldn’t be like that when a fictional character is shipped with someone else. I mean the only advice I can give would be to talk to him and try to work it out somehow. Not like all at once cause yah know these kinds of matters might need to be more delicate but still, if worse comes to worse yah might need to have him make a choice between you whose a real, physical person that he’s in a relationship with or a fictional character that literally cannot feel anything for him or anyone else really cause they’re not real. Again I wouldn’t lead with that cause for all we know it’s a phase that will pass but yah know just watch the signs and try to work it out. Best advice I can say really cause it’s fine to have your head in the clouds but you gotta keep your feet on the ground too.

I would argue that it’d be more on an emotional level rather than having to do with appearance. It’s one of those weird things that comes about when you have characters that are anthropomorphic like in MLP:FIM. They may not have the bodies of humans, but they talk like humans, have distinct personalities and behave in ways we’d label as “human”. Because of that lines are kinda blurry so it’s not unreasonable I’d think to see how such a thing could happen. If the characters didn’t talk, have such expressive faces and have any other human-like qualities, odds are this “falling in love” bit wouldn’t happen nearly as often. I wouldn’t say I’m “in love” with the character or any fictional character but I do like certain characters a lot, especially when it comes to those that I feel like I can identify with. I won’t say that I know entirely how the character would be feeling in their situation nor that the things I’ve gone through were equal, but when we see others that we identify with because they’d be the ones that would understand what it’s like to be in situations we’ve been in, sometimes we can come to like the character even more and sometimes it can get to the point that we almost forget they’re not real and so the feelings we can have for them might border on what some might label as disturbing. Hell in someways we all kind of want our favorite characters to be real because they seem so real to us at times. Like we can get genuinely emotional watching a movie or tv show where a character we enjoy is in danger, upset, depressed, happy, etc. Like I legit cried in the episode of Doctor Who where the 10th Doctor had to leave and regenerate into the 11th cause it was so sad. Same when he got separated from Rose. But that’s what characters can mean to us so even if they aren’t real, are cartoons or even if they are animals, if we can identify with them in someway they become more real to us and so we can feel more emotions for them.
I can’t be disturbed or disgusted by these kinds of people, if anything there is more pity than anything because they might not even bother seeking attachments with real people, and because they’re fictional characters they can be what ever we like them to be, making them pretty much perfect despite not being real. I guess it just depends on how far the fantasy goes and whether or not the person can understand that they’re not real so they don’t get too obsessed with them or upset when fan art of them in situations that put them with another character or person.
I got a bit long-winded there but suffice to say that I can sort of understand how and why he and others might but hopefully they’re not too long gone as to ACTUALLY see the characters as a real being and so can live a relatively normal life simply being an admirer of the character. Didn’t mean to bore yah, just my thoughts on the matter.

Well, Blaze has been infatuated with Luna since he saw her and is actually a fictiophiliac. It really sucks because he can’t really afford commissions so he has to watch everyone else kissing her while he’s stuck with me…how the heck do you fall in love with a cartoon horsie? Like I understand liking a character a lot but how the heckie do you actually fall in love with one?

Well, I’m not going anywhere! My boyfriend is the whole reason I started this and I sure won’t stop because some people are just butts. It took me a really long time for this and I’m proud of it. People can whine about him being shipped with Luna all they want, but, as far as I’m concerned, he deserves her.
That and he’s mine so he can kiss Luna all he wants, hehe.

It’s really unfair that people go around disliking stuff, especially when you’ve worked really hard on it. It took me a long time to draw this and it made my boyfriend really happy, but you’ve got all these people downvoting it cuz he’s shipped with a canon pony.
There is a whole lot of grumpy people on Derpibooru I assume. They also seem to dislike original characters unless they are already famous, which seems like a paradox to me.
I wouldn’t go around chasing off new artists, but that’s my opinion.
