Fair enough, I’m just not sure if Dash would see it that way. She does get insecure about looking “soft”, after all, even at times when that concern isn’t actually warranted.

They made them both attraced to eachother. Unnless your definiton of canon is that they are married, that’s a canonish pairing to me. And Meghan IS Hasbro. She’s a main executve responsible for every plot development in every Hasbro branch meant for little girls. There is only Stephen Davis above her and i doubt that he has time to dwell on fictional characters love life since he’s mostly caring about charts of MLP’s profits just as much as for Transformers, LPS or Monopoly.
At what point did they “almost canonise” Marblemac, what makes you think they’d do a time skip, and wouldn’t a drastic change like that need to go through Hasbro?
For the record, I’m not making a “rule”, I’m pointing out a pattern that’s held for five and a half seasons.
They almost canonised MarbleMac and Big Mac wasn’t introduced in the same episode. I don’t think we should make any “rules” of whether character WILL or WILL NEVER do something because you’re just going to get suprised in the future. If McCarthy wants to make a time skip series like DragonBall—>DBZ did then she will most likely ship the main characters at some point.
Not to mention they never make ships canon. Unless two characters were a couple in the episode they were introduced in, it’s not gonna happen.
(Lyrabon is implied, but not technically canon, and the odds of it going any further than it has are kinda low.)

I mean at least zephyrdash has some canonical foundation, even if only for a joke purpose, and soarindash has nothing, zero, pffft. And I’m actually glad it’s the way it is.

c’mon, seeing your partner there for you in a moment like this is always nice, besides i’m pretty sure RD can handle herself. My sister can handle herself too and she plays along when i or her boyfriend is there to put some fear in the jerk
